To setup your PCTMail Internet Connection:
- Double click on the My Computer icon shown on your
desktop.

- In My Computer double click on the Dial-Up Networking
icon.

- In Dial-Up Networking double click on the Make
New Connection icon.

- Type PCTMail in the textbox labelled Type
a name for the computer you are dialing: then select
your modem from the drop down list box labelled Select
a device: Click on Next > to continue.

- Type 7 (which is the Area Code for Queensland)
in the textbox labelled Area Code: In the
textbox labelled Telephone Number:
enter 0198333259. Now select Australia (61)
from the drop down list box. Click on Next > to
continue.

- Provided you have entered all information correctly, you
will now have a Dial-Up Networking Connection called PCTMail
which will provide you with you with Internet Access! Click
on the Finish button to complete it.

- We are not quite done yet. We now have to edit some of
the properties of our new Dial-Up Networking Connection.
Right click on PCTMail and click Properties.

- In the tab labelled General, uncheck the
box with Use area code and Dialing Properties
written next to it. Once you have unchecked this box click
on the tab labelled Server Types to continue.

- In the Server Types tab uncheck the box
Log on to network in Advanced options. Also uncheck
the boxes NetBEUI and IPX/SPX
Compatible under Allowed network protocols. Make
sure that only the boxes "Enable software compression"
and "TCP/IP" are the only ones checked.
Once that is done click on the OK button.
